I have a standard DID50 Chain on my 2003 RC51 RVT1000 and was looking to get a better chain – I was looking at getting the Gold Premium 530ZVM2 X-Ring Chain I had really good luck with DID chains in the past but I was wanting to hit the drag races this year with my bike and was wanting a little stronger chain than the stock chain the bike came with.
Thanks for the help:
Yes that is a great chain, the 530ZVM2 Gold AVG. TENSILE STRENGTH is 10,370 lbs.
If you are going to go drag racing with your bike you should think about a diferent chain and look at the tinsile strength. A good running well tuned Honda RC51 RVT1000R Motorcycle could have anywhere around 125 HP to 135 HP so the DID X-Ring Chain would work fine, but if you have have a super trick RC51 and you are going drag racing with it then look at the EK 530DRZ2 DRAG BIKE CHAINS
Here is a good chart to go by:
for Motorcycles with 250HP Max the TENSILE STRENGTH suggested is 10,370 lbs.
for Motorcycles with 300HP Max the TENSILE STRENGTH suggested is 11,500 lbs.
for Motorcycles with 500HP Max the TENSILE STRENGTH suggested is 11,800 lbs.
Hope this helps.
